But in 1571 it was destroyed in a fire; the church was again rebuilt 1571 but it was again destroyed after just eight years of its construction. The third one was also very short lived however the fourth one which was built in 1604 lasted till late 1645. The church that is standing now is the fifth one that was built in 1675. The church of Holy Spirits has beautiful interiors and it is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Due to its simplicity and 500-year-old history tourists and local populous are equally attracted to it.


5.San Thome Museum
